helpful tips: 10 NEW WAYS TO REUSE OLD THINGS

Tissues Box: Forget unruly plastic bags that seemingly regenerate under your sink. An empty tissue box keeps them neatly corralled and ready for use.

Used Calendar: Turn old calendar pages into gift wrap. Personalise a birthday present by taking a page from that month and circling the special day.

Name Tag : Brand anything as yours―books, binders, Tupperware, a stapler―with name tags from conferences or trainings you attended.

Mouse Pad: Save a countertop with an old mouse pad turned pot or kettle stand. (Make sure it has a non-plastic coating.)

Shower Cap: Shower cap becomes the perfect wrapper for shoes when traveling, preventing them from dirtying clothes packed in your suitcase.

Cardboard Tube from Toilet Tissue: The cardboard tube from a spent roll of toilet tissue is a wonderfully simple tool for keeping extension cords tangle-free.

Plastic Bag: Cut down on the amount of potting soil needed by crumpling plastic bags to fill the bottom of a deep pot (just be sure that you don't cover the drainage hole, if there is one).

Picture Frame: Serve drinks on a picture frame. Place a copy of your favorite photo under the glass and set out the drinks for a picture-perfect evening.

Contact-Lens Case: When traveling, eliminate clunky bottles for nonprescription meds from your purse by popping the pills into an old contact-lens case.

Glasses/Sunglasses Case :An unused glasses case makes a convenient storage spot for beauty items on the go.
